Awesome place away from hustle bustle of city, nestled in the nature. Nice and well mentained cottages. View from room are breathtaking. One of the most amazing places resorts I've stayed at.
The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and clean.
The Location is Heavenly.
The view from the boundary is so picturesque and it is so calm over there.
It is a good place to spend time in nature and quiet , free from hustle bustle of main Shimla.
It was an unforgettable experience for me, we went for a family weekend getaway.
However the service in the restaurant is super slow but considering other plus points this didn't bother us that much. 😁

What's the best time to visit Kufri if I want snow?
December through February is when Kufri gets snow, especially around Mahasu Peak, so if that’s the plan, go then. March to June is a different trip entirely: clearer roads, warmer days, easier sightseeing. Chasing snow and chasing comfort aren’t the same trip, so pick one and plan around it rather than hoping for both in the same visit.
Close enough that it doesn’t feel like a separate trip. We’re right on Kufri Chail Road, so getting to Kufri’s sightseeing spots or into Shimla for Mall Road doesn’t take your whole day. You get the quiet, away-from-town feel at night without the drive back being a chore every time you want to step out during the day.
This completely depends on the reason why you are visiting Kufri. If you are just passing through or watching the budget, then a superior room will be the perfect choice for you. And if you are travelling with family and want breathing room, then you should go with the Stone Cottages. But if the view is the whole point of the trip, book a Glamp Cottage; that 180-degree spread of the Himalayas and Shimla city is why those tend to sell out first in peak season.
Not usually; 2400 metres isn’t extreme, and most people, kids and seniors included, adjust within a day. If someone in your group has a heart or breathing condition, it’s worth a quick check with their doctor first. Once you’re here, just go easy the first evening, skip the long walk, drink more water than you think you need, and you’ll be fine.
Yes, and it’s one of the better parts of what we do; the mountains do half the work for you visually. But autumn and pre-monsoon dates fill up fast here, so if you want a specific date, or want cottages held for your wedding party, lock it in a few months out. Waiting till the last minute usually means settling for whatever’s left.
